Works to improve business practices of member firms, promotes QBS, and works with state and local government to achieve tort reforms and liability limitations.
Chapter Development
Focuses on enhancing and promoting the value of ACEC Tennessee membership for current and potential members
Engineering Excellence Awards
Responsible for planning and execution of the yearly Engineering Excellence Awards Gala, project submissions, judging day and any related activities
Environment and Energy
In conjunction with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, monitors and responds to challenges and solutions for environmental issues
Government Advocacy
Develops action steps for how ACEC Tennessee will engage and respond to legislative and regulatory initiatives, as well as develops Engineering Day on the Hill program
Interprofessional
Supports members firms by developing ongoing relations and partnerships with the State Architect, AIA, and other key professional organizations
Leadership Development
Designs, coordinates, and implements ACEC Tennessee’s premier leadership development program, Leadership PE
Long Range Planning
Responsible for the visioning and future planning of ACEC Tennessee
Nominating
Responsible for the nomination of future leaders for the organization
Transportation
In conjunction with the Tennessee Department of Transportation, monitors and responds to challenges and solutions to transportation issues
